Abstract:
Provided are: a hot rolled steel sheet for an electroseamed steel pipe and a method for producing same; an electroseamed steel pipe and a method for producing same; a line pipe; and a building structure. This hot rolled steel sheet for an electroseamed steel pipe has a constituent composition that contains, in terms of mass%, 0.030-0.20% of C, 0.02-1.0% of Si, 0.40-3.0% of Mn, 0.050% or less of P, 0.020% or less of S, 0.0070-0.10% of N and 0.005-0.080% of Al, with the remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities. The amount of N in solid solution in the steel is 0.0010-0.090%. If the sheet thickness is denoted by t, the steel structure at a position corresponding to 1/2t has an average crystal grain diameter of 20.0 μm or less.
