The present invention relates to a hot-water supply device for a hot-and-cold-water apparatus whereby it is possible to prevent the back-flow of hot water held in a hot-water storage unit, and it is possible to induce the safe discharge of hot water by preventing the pressure from rising as the water held in the hot-water storage unit expands while at the same time minimising heat loss. The hot-water supply device for a hot-and-cold-water apparatus of the present invention comprises: a hot-water storage unit which is constituted so as to allow the inflow and discharge of water and is provided with a heating device for heating the water; a discharge cock for discharging the hot water held in the hot-water storage unit to the outside; and an auxiliary storage unit where water held in the hot-water storage unit is stored if the water flows out of the hot-water storage unit after exceeding the capacity of the hot-water storage unit upon being heated by the action of the heating device. The hot-water storage unit is either constituted in the form of a tank or constituted in the form of a tube, and the auxiliary storage unit is positioned above the hot-water storage unit and is constituted such that the water stored in the auxiliary storage unit flows into the hot-water storage unit under gravity if the water level in the hot-water storage unit falls. An air discharge port is formed in the auxiliary storage unit.
