Abstract:
A hot water supply device comprising a heat pump unit that has a compressor, a water heat exchanger, a pressure reduction mechanism, and an air heat exchanger and heats water flowing into the water heat exchanger. The hot water supply device is equipped with a compressor control unit for controlling the operation frequency of the compressor, and a pressure reduction mechanism control unit for controlling the degree of opening of the pressure reduction mechanism. When a defrosting operation is started, in which the pressure reduction mechanism is opened and the supply of water to the water heat exchanger is stopped and a refrigerant discharged from the compressor is allowed to flow into the air heat exchanger, the control of the operation frequency by the compressor control unit or the control of the degree of opening of the pressure reduction mechanism by the pressure reduction mechanism control unit is carried out to lower the flow rate of the medium flowing into the pressure reduction mechanism.
