A household water machine refrigeration control method and device. The method comprises the following steps: S1, receiving a refrigeration instruction, and entering a refrigeration mode according to the refrigeration instruction; S2, acquiring operation parameters of a household water machine; S3, determining whether a pause condition is met according to the operation parameters; S4, if the pause condition is met, pausing refrigeration; and S5, further determining whether a restart condition is met, and if the restart condition is met, conducting refrigeration and repeating steps S2 to S5 till a refrigeration end condition is met. Therefore, in the operation process of a household water machine, the performance of a condenser and an evaporator can be restored to the optimal performance state through refrigeration pause, and the evaporating temperature can be reduced to a low temperature in next operation, so that the performance of the condenser, the evaporator and a compressor can be multiplied, ultra-low water temperature refrigeration is achieved, the refrigeration capability is improved, and the stability of the household water machine is improved.
