Abstract:
The invention relates to a housing for an electronic element, preferably a battery cell or a capacitor, comprising a cylindrical portion (4) and a base (6) disposed at one end of the cylindrical portion (4), wherein the cylindrical portion (4) and the base (6) are formed as a single piece, the housing being characterized in that the cylindrical portion (4) and the base (6) are made of a plated sheet metal and in that the sheet metal has at least one layer (10) of aluminum and at least one layer (12) of steel. The housing achieves the aim of providing an improved housing.
