Provided is a housing structure of a tension rod requiring no work in a central section of the tension rod when a jib is projected. The housing structure of the tension rod is stretched between the upper section of the front end of a boom and an appropriate portion of the front end of the jib. The housing structure (S) of the tension rod is provided with: a tension rod (20) having a rod front end coupling section (21) coupled to an appropriate portion of the front end of the jib (30) and a rod base end coupling section (22) coupled to an appropriate portion of the base end of the jib (30) in a jib housing posture; and the jib (30) having a jib front end coupling section (31) coupled to the rod front end coupling section (21), a C-shaped guide member (40) for housing the central section of the tension rod (20) in the jib housing posture, and a jib base end coupling section (32) coupled to the rod base end coupling section (22). Furthermore, in the jib housing posture, in a state in which the rod front end coupling section (21) is coupled to the jib front end coupling section (31) and the rod base end coupling section (22) is coupled to the jib base end coupling section (32), the central section of the tension rod is pressed against a C-shaped section (41) of the C-shaped guide member (40) by means of restoring force caused by an elastic deformation of the tension rod (20).
