Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel touch panel-type switch which enables not only a switch image for an on-board electronic device in a non-display state to be displayed when same is in use, but also the switch and an on-board component adjacent to the switch to have a shared appearance. A human-sensing switch 1 for vehicle comprises a display 2 having a display area 21 for displaying a switch image 20 of an on-board electronic device 91 by light emission, a light-transmissive touch panel substrate body 3 disposed on the upper side of the display 2, and a light-transmissive decorative body 4 disposed on the upper side of the touch panel substrate body 3, the touch panel substrate body 3 having, on the same substrate 31, an electrostatic capacitive sensor electrode 71 for detecting the approach of an object to be detected and electrostatic capacitive switch electrodes 70 disposed at positions facing the display area 21 and detecting an operation performed by the object to be detected, and the switch image 20 being displayed on the display 2 when the approach of the object to be detected is detected by the sensor electrode 71.
