Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hybrid heat pump system. The hybrid heat pump system according to the present invention comprises: a circulation pipe connecting an evaporator, a first heat exchanger and a compressor in a closed loop; an expansion valve, installed at the circulation pipe between the first heat exchanger and the evaporator, for controlling the flow of a refrigerant; and a heat pump unit, installed at the circulation pipe between the evaporator and the compressor, having a four-way valve for switching the flow of the refrigerant to the evaporator and the first heat exchanger, wherein the heat pump unit comprises: a second heat exchanger installed between the evaporator and the first heat exchanger; and a defrosting unit for removing the frost in the evaporator by heating a heat exchange medium supplied to the evaporator through the second heat exchanger and generating overheated steam.
