Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of communications, and in particular to a hybrid beam forming architecture-based calibration compensation method and apparatus for improving the accuracy and effectiveness of calibration compensation. The method comprises: a base station determining a preset calibration weight vector matrix W and a preset first calibration signal matrix S, then sending a calibration signal, by means of an analog transmission channel, N times consecutively, calculating, according to the calibration weight vector matrix W, the first calibration signal matrix S and a first received data vector matrix YTX, a corresponding transmission channel error matrix ETX, and then performing error compensation on a corresponding analog transmission channel based on ETX. In this way, a high-dimensional matrix inversion operation can be prevented, thereby reducing computation overheads, improving the system operating efficiency, reducing the number of times that analog transmission channels are switched and reducing computing resources and the computation complexity, and thereby ensuring the compensation for each analog transmission channel, improving the accuracy and effectiveness of calibration compensation, and improving the precision of error compensation.
