Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hybrid card, to a hybrid card payment system, and to method for operating same. The hybrid card payment system includes: a processor means for identifying the type of a payment request generated by a hybrid card and reading information on prepaid electronic money held in a virtual account associated the hybrid card when the type is identified as a contactless payment request; and an interface means for transmitting the read prepaid electronic money information to an electronic chip in the hybrid card, and transmitting first deduction information generated by the electronic chip to the virtual account in order to update the prepaid electronic money information using the first deduction information.
