Abstract:

Disclosed in the present invention is a hybrid compound formed by combining valsartan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof with sacubitril or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, the hybrid compound being used as the main ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition for reducing the risk of heart failure, in comparison with a conventional ACE inhibitor, through a dual action of inhibiting angiotensin receptors (ACEs) and inhibiting neprilysin so as to improve the protective neurohormonal systems of the heart.
