Abstract:
A hybrid drive device with two motors enabling continuously variable transmission, preventing an energy recovering efficiency from lowering, and preventing a transmission efficiency from lowering in a high vehicle speed and low drive force area. To realize a gear shift by a planetary gear unit and three friction engagement elements (B1), (C1), and (C2), the first and third drivingly transmitting states are formed by connecting an input shaft (I) to the first rotating element of the planetary gear unit, connecting the first motor (MG1) to a second rotating element, and connecting an output shaft (O) and the second motor (MG2) to a third rotating element. The second drivingly transmitting state is formed by connecting the input shaft (I), the output shaft (O), and the first and second motors (MG1) and (MG2) to the four rotating elements of the planetary gear unit independently of each other.
