Abstract:
A hydrate formation accelerant, and an application thereof in methane storage. The hydrate formation accelerant is a mixed aqueous solution consisting of cyclopentane, sodium dodecyl sulphate and water, the volume fraction of cyclopentane being 5%-23.4%, the mass fraction of sodium dodecyl sulphate being 0.01%-0.08%. The hydrate formation accelerant can efficiently and rapidly form methane hydrate under conditions close to room temperature (25°C), and can maintain stability under higher temperature conditions.
