Description:
HYDRAULIC .CONTROL ^ UNIT

Technical Field

This invention relates to a hydraulic con¬ trol and execution unit for machine-tools •

Background Art '

Hydraulic control and execution units . provided v/ith hydraulic clutches and friction disks are already known. The clutches are hydraulically engaged and disengaged , oil circulating through external pipes and holes provided in the shaft on which the two clutches are mounted, which is also called clutch shaft.

These hydraulic units have the disadvantage that the external pipes * cause power less in the hydraulic system, the clutch feedback being high.At the same time, due to the tension c ncentrators in the grooved αree the shaft -resis¬ tance is lower.

Disclosure of Invention

The hydraulic unit embodyinc the invention removes these disadvantases bv that, that in order to achieve a small sized unit, v/ith possibilities for movement reversal within a short time, said hydraulic unit is provided with hi- raulic unit is provided v/ith hydraulic clutches mounted cn s shaft which hass a polyhedral profile, oil circulation being provided by a distributi g block mace up of distribution plates which have internal grooves through which oil circulates, thus actuating the friction disks of the hydraulic clutches and providing movement transmission tc the main spindle'o the machine- tool .

The hydraulic control unit embodying the invention, presents the following aάvr-r-tages :

- rapid troubleshooting

- short operating time

- small size

Ξrief Description of Dra-.vnigs Below is given ε exemple of this invention related to Figs . 1 - 16 which represent : -

Best -lode of Carrying Cut the Invention

The hydraulic unit aobcdying the invention is made-up, as shc-~n in FIG.l , of a motor 1 for the machine- tool main drive , v/hich transmits π-oveεεnt in two directions. Iart of the sicveαent is trans---ittεd to a clutch shaft 2 which has a pcl^rhedral profile a which transmits movement to hydrau¬ lic clutches A.

Another part of the ---.cvet-ient is transmitted to a N 1 -

■ pump 3 which absorbs oil from an oil t nk 4 of the machine - . tool and delivers it, according to FIG. 3 , through a hose ~ - a filter 6 and a housing 7 cf the gearbox, to a distributing block 3 .

The distributing block 3 , shewn in FIG.4, in one execution, is made-up of a plate 8 and a cennscti cn piste 9 , oil circulation between the two plates δ and 9 being achieved through holes b sealed with packing rings IC »

The connection plate 9 is clamped in plate S by means of screws 11 .

The distributing block 3 , in another execution, is achieved by the rectangular plates 13 snd 14 whic overlap and are assembled by centering pins 15 and screws 16. Semi- grcoves c_ and d are provided in plates 13 and 14 - ~ .il' cake-up a common groove e for oil circulation, ' when plates 1? -?r-d 14 are joined together; This arrangement ' provides an easier realisation and cleaning, from technological point of view, of groove _e - A pressure gauge 17 is mounted on the distri¬ buting block E. .

The two hydraulic clutches A are mounted cn c?-μtcr- shaft 2 and consist of clutch flanges IS and friction disks 19.

To operate the machine-tool,, one clutch or the other is engaged by means of electrodistributor 2G , oil circulating through distribution grooves f to distributor 21. From here, through central holes s and port h oil eac es •piston 22 and pushes it against friction disks 19. Movement is further tra smitted by gear 23 to the mach r- p - col gsarbcx.

The hydraulic clutch A is disengaged y oppr*?ti g electrodistributor 2C. Since oil no longer acts or piston ~ 2, springs 24 in couple 25 which has a polyhedral bore 1 disengage piston 22. Cil in excess in distributing block E flows through valve 2 β to housing 7 of the gεar cx,theough lubrication distributor 27 επd a lubrication " and cooling rirc 28, to an integrated tank, not shown in the d a ings , o tl: machine-tool asά .

BAD.on-MN«

The clutch shaft on which, the t-70 hydraulic " clutches are mounted can he removed from housing 7 by looseni ng screws 29 •

Industrial Applicability

The hydraulic unit' embodying the invention has applications in any kind of machine-tool reqr-iring an ele¬ ment for continuous or intermittent movement transmissi on from , the main drive motor to the gesrbex, Such as lathes , milling machines , etc-
