Abstract:
Disclosed is a hydraulic oil which has excellent stick-slip suppressing properties and oil-water separation properties. The disclosed hydraulic oil includes, in a lubricant base oil, not more than 0.01-10 mass%, with reference to the total amount of lubricating oil, of a glycerol stearate, preferably glycerol mono-isostearate, and 0.0001-0.1 mass%, with reference to the total amount of lubricating oil, of a polyalkylene glycol having a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000-20,000; and at 40˚C the hydraulic oil has a dynamic viscosity of 10-600mm2/s and a viscosity index of at least 80.
