Abstract:
A hydraulic shock absorber where a shock-absorbing function of cushion rubbers, arranged between one end portion of the hydraulic shock absorber and a vehicle body side portion and between the other end portion and a wheel side portion, is not impaired. A spring is installed in a cylinder (2). The spring biases a piston (14) in a direction where a piston rod (4) is inserted into the cylinder (2) with the piston (14) being positioned in a regularly used area.
