The present invention relates to a hydraulic steering mechanism for an agricultural vehicle, comprising: a steering pump for supplying working fluid; a manual steering unit which is connected to the steering pump and, as manual steering is carried out by manipulating a steering wheel, changes the driving direction of an agricultural vehicle by means of the working fluid supplied from the steering pump; an automatic steering unit which, as automatic steering is carried out by a control unit, changes the driving direction of the agricultural vehicle by means of the working fluid supplied from the steering pump; a manual preferential switching unit connected to each of the steering pump and the automatic steering unit so that the working fluid supplied from the steering pump is selectively supplied to the automatic steering unit, depending on whether the manual steering is carried out or not; an external discharge line for discharging, to an external device, the working fluid supplied from the steering pump; and a steering preferential unit connected to each of the steering pump and the external discharge line so that the working fluid supplied from the steering pump is selectively discharged to the external discharge line.
