Abstract:
A hydrogen detecting device (1) is provided with: a hydrogen sensor (100) having a resistance value which varies in accordance with the presence of hydrogen gas; a sensor control circuit (200) which senses the resistance value of the hydrogen sensor (100); and a microcomputer (300) which intermittently drives the sensor control circuit (200) with a different OFF-time depending on the operating environment. The hydrogen detecting device (1) is mounted in a fuel cell vehicle. The microcomputer (300) may set the OFF-time when the fuel cell vehicle is running to t3, and set the OFF-time when the fuel cell vehicle is parked to t1, longer than t3. Further, the OFF-time when the fuel cell vehicle is parked in a hermetically sealed space may be set to t1b, longer than t3, and the OFF-time when the fuel cell vehicle is parked in an open space may be set to t1a, longer than t1b. Further, the OFF-time when the fuel cell vehicle is running may be set to t3, and the OFF-time when the fuel cell vehicle is stopped may be set to t2, longer than t3.
