Abstract:
Provided are a hydrogen production system and a hydrogen production method, the hydrogen production system including: a heat source capable of generating a thermal energy of 600°C or more; a heat exchanger that heats steam by using a heating medium heated by means of the thermal energy; a high-temperature steam electrolyzer that produces hydrogen by using the steam heated by means of the heating medium; and a heating apparatus that heats the high-temperature steam electrolyzer by using the heating medium heated by means of the thermal energy.
