Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hydrogen storage material using a naphthalene-based derivative and a manufacturing method therefor, and more specifically, provides a hydrogen storage material containing a methylbenzyl naphthalene isomer, a manufacturing method therefor, and a hydrogen storage method. The hydrogen storage material has suitable properties as a liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) in that the material reversibly undergoes hydrogenation/dehydrogenation reactions and reacts well with catalysts, and thus the utilization thereof can contribute to the progress in various industry sectors in need of hydrogen storage technology.
