Abstract:
Provided are a hydrogenation catalyst for preparing isohexanediol and methyl isobutyl carbinol, and a preparation method therefor. In addition, also provided is a method for preparing isohexanediol and methyl isobutyl carbinol. The hydrogenation catalyst comprises a modified support, and an active component and an auxiliary component loaded on the modified support, wherein the modified support comprises an alkaline earth metal oxide and a support oxide, the support oxide is aluminum oxide and/or silicon oxide, the active component is at least one selected from ruthenium, palladium, and platinum, and the auxiliary component is copper. The hydrogenation catalyst is high in activity, high in raw material conversion rate, good in selectivity, and good in stability.
