Abstract:

A process for producing a hydrophilic material, characterized by treating a material comprising a polyvinyl pyrrolidone with a radiation while keeping the material wet with an aqueous solution containing a cationic polymer. By the process, a material for blood treatment can be produced with which the deposition of blood platelets is inhibited.
