Abstract:
A hydroponic cultivation device (1) irrigates an underground part (B) for growing a plant (100) that amasses nutrients synthesized by an above ground part (A) in the underground unit (B). The hydroponic cultivation device (1) is provided with: an air space unit (20) that accommodates the underground part (B) in a substantially sealed state; a sensor unit (14) that detects the amount of moisture in the underground part (B) and the air space unit (20) surrounding the underground part (B); an air-conditioning fan (41) that introduces air to the air space unit (20) and controls the temperature and humidity within the air space unit (20); and a control unit (3) that drives the air-conditioning fan (41) so as to adjust the amount of outside air and the time for introducing outside air and thereby controls the amount of moisture detected by the sensor unit (14).
