Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hydroxyphenyl-terminated polysiloxane, to a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer comprising same as a repeating unit, and to a method for preparing the copolymer and, more specifically, to a polysiloxane of a specific structure having a terminal silane unit including an optionally substituted hydroxyphenyl group, to a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer comprising the polysiloxane and a polycarbonate block as a repeating unit, and having excellent transparency and significantly improved flame retardancy than that of a conventional polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer, and to a method for preparing same.
