Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hyperthermia therapy for applying heat to an affected area by using an applicator. In the present invention, the permeability of a magnetic nanoparticle is measured by a permeability measuring probe, an optimal frequency for hyperthermia therapy treatment is selected on the basis of the value of the imaginary part of the permeability, the applicator is operated at the frequency to radiate high frequency waves, and the nanoparticle is heated to a temperature suitable for the hyperthermia therapy by using the high frequency waves. Therefore, a rise in the temperature of a normal tissue is minimized, and only a cancer tissue is selectively increased in temperature, so that the performance of the hyperthermia therapy can be improved, and the side effects thereof can be minimized.
