Abstract:
An IC card (101) performs contactless communication with a reader/writer which is an inductive read/write communication facility. A power supply control circuit (30): detects the presence or absence of power reception on the basis of an output voltage from a power reception circuit (20); detects, using an electronic function circuit (16), the presence or absence of a predetermined communication; in the absence of the predetermined communication immediately after detection of power reception, starts charging of a power storage device (60) by means of a charging circuit (24); in the presence of the predetermined communication immediately after detection of power reception, performs power supply from a voltage conversion circuit (15) to the electronic function circuit (16) without starting the charging of the power storage device (60) by means of the charging circuit (24).
