Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to use a cooled ice pack by exchanging a used ice pack for the cooled ice pack at a store where food was purchased. An ice pack provision system 100 is a system for providing a frozen ice pack 900A in exchange for the return of a used ice pack 900B at a point Y where food can be purchased, and includes: a supply cycle C1 in which ice packs 900 are circulated between a point X and the point Y and which includes a supply transport step for transporting frozen ice packs 900A from the point X to the point Y and a collection transport step for transporting used ice packs 900B from the point Y to the point X; and a consumption cycle C2 in which ice packs 900 are circulated between the point Y and a point Z and which includes an ice pack use step for transporting food kept at a low temperature using a frozen ice pack 900A from the point Y to the point Z and an ice pack return step for transporting a used ice pack 900B from the point Z to the point Y.
