Abstract:
An ice shaving machine is configured so as to allow, in placement of ice on an ice shaving table, the position of the center of gravity of the ice to be easily aligned with the position of the axis of a rotating shaft and so as to be less likely to vibrate and become unstable to generate noise.
An ice shaving machine is provided with a shaving table mounted such that a shaving blade project from a slit, an ice presser for pressing from above ice placed on the ice shaving table, a rotating mechanism for rotating the ice presser, and a lifting mechanism for lifting and lowering the ice presser. A recessed portion of a plate is provided in the ice shaving table. A downwardly expanding tapered ice guide member is mounted to the ice presser. When the lifting mechanism is driven to lower the ice presser, the ice guide member guides the ice in the direction of the axis of a rotating shaft, and as a result, the position of the center of gravity of the ice is automatically aligned with the position of the axis of the rotating shaft.
