Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application disclose an icon arrangement method and an electronic device. Said method can comprise: receiving a first input to a screen of an electronic device; in response to the first input, displaying, in a floating window, M first icons and N identifiers, the M first icons being icons included in a first folder, one identifier indicating one folder or one screen, and M and N being both positive integers; receiving a second input for a first target icon of the M first icons and a target identifier of the N identifiers; and in response to the second input, moving the first target icon to a target area, and cancelling the display of the first target icon in the floating window, the target area being a display area in a folder or a screen indicated by the target identifier.
