Abstract:
A face image capturing means captures a face image of an applicant to produce face image information. Before the face image capturing means captures the applicant's face image, identification face image information of the applicant is acquired from a file server. The acquired identification face image information is compared with the face image information produced by the face image capturing means, thereby identifying the applicant. When identification means identifies the applicant, an ID card is produced. This arrangement improves the efficiency of identification processings and allows the ID card production to be efficiently and quickly performed.
