Abstract:
An ignition control device (1) provided with an ignition coil (2), a main ignition circuit unit (3) which performs a main ignition operation, and an energy introduction circuit unit (4) which performs an energy introducing operation, is provided with a signal separating circuit unit (5) for receiving an ignition control signal (IG), which is a signal in which a main ignition signal (IGT), an energy introduction signal (IGW), and a target secondary current command signal (IGA) are integrated, and separating the signals included in the received ignition control signal (IG). The signal separating circuit unit (5) generates the main ignition signal (IGT) by taking a time point at which a wait time (t wait) has elapsed after the ignition control signal (IG) has first changed from a first level to a second level, and the signal level is at the second level, as the start of the main ignition signal (IGT), and the time point at which the ignition control signal (IG) subsequently changes to the first level as the end of the main ignition signal (IGT).
