Abstract:
Provided is an illuminating apparatus (2) having an off-peak power consumption management mechanism. The illuminating apparatus comprises a light source module (21), a light source drive module (22), an energy storage module (23), a control module (24) and a timing module (25), wherein the light source drive module (22) is connected to the light source module (21), and is connected to a mains supply (ACin) by means of a switch module (S). The energy storage module (23) is connected to the light source drive module (22) and the mains supply (ACin). The control module (24) is connected to the energy storage module (23), the light source drive module (22) and the switch module (S). The timing module (25) is connected to the control module (24) and stores a preset charging time interval. When the current time is within the preset charging time interval, the control module (24) controls the energy storage module (23) to be charged by means of the mains supply, and turns the switch module (S) on to enable the mains supply to supply power to the light source drive module (22) so as to drive the light source module (21).
