Abstract:
An illumination control system (100) comprises an illumination device (10e) that emits image light (61) diagonally with respect to an illuminated surface (51), a storage unit (10a) that stores optical data associating the light intensity and wavelength of the image light (61) reflected by the illuminated surface (51), an identification unit (10b) that identifies characteristics of the illuminated surface (51) illuminated by the illumination device (10e), an estimation unit (10c) that estimates the position of the eyes of a user (21), and a control unit (10d) that controls the light intensity or wavelength of the image light (61) emitted from the illumination device (10e) on the basis of the characteristics of the illuminated surface (51) and the result estimated by the estimation unit (10c).
