Abstract:
This illumination device (12) is provided with: a light source (16); a light-guide plate (19) which is a plate-shape member and includes a light incident surface (19c) that consists of one end surface of said plate-shape member and that receives light from the light source (16), and a light exit surface (19a) that consists of the front plate surface of said plate-shape member and that emits light incident from the light incident surface (19c); and a light source substrate (17) which includes a plate-form metal first substrate (74a) which, in a state in which an end (71a) protrudes beyond the light incident surface (19c), is placed on the plate surface (19b) of the back side of the light-guide plate (19), and a plate-form metal second substrate (74b) rising from the end (71a) of the first substrate (74a) and supported in a state in which the light source (16) is opposite of the light incident surface (19c).
