Abstract:
An illumination device 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a light source 11 for emitting illumination light L in a predetermined cycle; a branch unit 13 for splitting the illumination light L emitted from the light source 11 into first illumination light L1 and second illumination light L2; a diffraction unit 14 that diffracts a part of the first illumination light L1 to emit the same outside, and reflects another part of the first illumination light L1; a first detection unit 15 that detects the quantity of arrival light L4 arriving through the diffraction unit 14; and a control unit for controlling the light source 11 on the basis of a difference between a first quantity of the arrival light L4 detected by the first detection unit 15 while the illumination light L is not emitted from the light source 11 and a second quantity of the arrival light L4 detected by the first detection unit 15 while the illumination light L is emitted from the light source 11.
