Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an illumination device which, even when installed in a mounting opening provided on an internal surface of a bathroom, prevents the heat inside the bathroom from escaping, and a mounting structure therefor. The illumination device (2) comprises a planar light-emitting body (6), a bathroom-side cover (9), and a spacer (5). The planar light-emitting body (6) emits light toward the interior of the bathroom (1). The bathroom-side cover (9) covers the planar light-emitting body (6) from the bathroom (1) side. The spacer (5) surrounds the light-emitting portion of the planar light-emitting body (6). The bathroom-side cover (9) is disposed in the light-emitting direction of the planar light-emitting body (6), separated therefrom by a predetermined distance. Then, the space enclosed by the planar light-emitting body (6), the spacer (5), and the bathroom-side cover (9) forms a heat insulation space.
