Abstract:
[Problem] To measure the concentration of a user and maintain and improve the concentration of the user by notifying the user by stimulation, etc., when their concentration has decreased. [Solution] An illumination device comprising: a light source 62 for illuminating above a desk D; an arm that holds the light source 62 above the desk D; a face camera 21 that detects the eyes of a user H; an image processing unit 120 that, on the basis of the detection results from the face camera 21, calculates the number of blinks by the user H; a calculation unit 130 that counts the number of blinks found by the image processing unit 120 and determines whether or not same exceeds a predetermined prescribed frequency; and a control unit 110 that, if the number of blinks exceeds the prescribed frequency, notifies the user H, e.g., by changing the light source 62 illumination.
