Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an illumination system that enables an improvement in the maintainability of a lamp. An illumination system (100) comprises a pole (6), a base (7), a lamp (8), a light source unit (9), an optical fiber (1), a first raising/lowering device (2), and a second raising/lowering device (5). The pole (6) is hollow. The base (7) faces the outer peripheral surface (63) of the pole (6) and can be raised and lowered along the pole (6). The lamp (8) is attached to the base (7). The optical fiber (1) has a light entry part into which light from the light source unit (9) enters and a light emission part (12) which is disposed inside the lamp (8). The first raising/lowering device (2) has a wire rope (25), one end (251) of which is connected to the base (7). The first raising/lowering device (2) raises and lowers the base (7) along the pole (6). The second raising/lowering device (5) raises and lowers light emission part (12) of the optical fiber (1).
