Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of realizing a gradation effect lighting having more vivid colors. This illumination system (A1) comprises a first light source unit (1), a second light source unit (2), a first driving section (3A), a second driving section (3B), and a controller (4). The first light source unit (1) emits first illumination light (L1) having a chromatic color onto an irradiation surface, the amount and the color of the first illumination light (L1) being variable. The second light source unit (2) emits second illumination light (L2) that differs from the first illumination light (L1) onto the irradiation surface, the amount and the color of the second illumination light (L2) being variable. The first light source unit (1) and the second light source unit (2) are configured such that at least part of the irradiation range of the first illumination light (L1) overlaps the irradiation range of the second illumination light (L2) in the irradiation surface. The chromaticity (chromaticity point C1) of the first illumination light (L1) is separated by 50 steps or more in the MacAdam ellipse (50-step ellipse D1) from an equal-energy white point.
