An image blurring method, comprising: acquiring an image to be processed; detecting a facial region within the image to be processed, and obtaining physical distance information corresponding to the facial region; acquiring a background blurring intensity according to the physical distance information, and blurring a background region of the image to be processed according to the background blurring intensity.
