Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce delays in image display due to display delay times. For this purpose, an image capturing device according to the present technology is provided with: an image capturing element; a delay-time obtaining unit that obtains a display delay time of a captured image, the display delay time being based on an exposure time of the image capturing element as well as a development processing time required for development processing; and an image-data generating unit that generates modified display image data in which a delay in image display due to the display delay time is reduced by using an amount of change in the position or orientation of the body of the image capturing device during the display delay time. The present invention aims at preventing image sickness by reducing delays in image display.
