Abstract:
The present invention enhances the focus detection accuracy for this image capturing device which detects respective focal points of a plurality of lenses. A main-side focus control unit detects, as a main-side focal position, a position of a main-side lens which is focused on the inside of a main-side detection area in a main-side image. A parallax acquisition unit determines a distance on the basis of the main-side focal position and acquires a parallax according to the distance. A sub-side detection area setting unit sets a position of a sub-side detection area in a sub-side image on the basis of the parallax and the position of the main-side detection area. A sub-side focus control unit detects, as a sub-side focal position, a position of a sub-side lens focused on the inside of the sub-side detection area.
