Abstract:
An image capturing device according to the present invention includes a storage unit that stores image data acquired by capturing an image, and a processing unit that executes processing on the image data. The processing unit executes processing for reducing the image data, executes first detection processing for detecting a specific object image representing a specific object from a reduced image represented by reduced image data obtained by reducing the image data, and executes second detection processing on pre-reduced image data, which is pre-reduced image data that is stored in the storage unit, when no specific object image is detected as a result of the first detection processing.
