Abstract:
This image-capturing device is provided with: a first photographing unit and a second photographing unit for taking a picture, the photographing ranges of the first photographing unit and the second photographing unit partly overlapping each other; and a case for accommodating the first photographing unit and the second photographing unit. The first photographing unit and the second photographing unit have: an image-capturing optical system including a first lens group, an optical path-bending element, and a second lens group disposed in the stated order from a subject side; and an image-capturing element for photographing an image of the subject as formed by the image-capturing optical system. The optical path-bending element bends subject light in the planar direction of the case. In the image-capturing optical system, the optical axes of the first lens group and the second lens group are fixed during variable magnification, with the second lens group moving along the optical axis.
