Abstract:
An image-capturing unit according to this disclosure comprises: an image-capturing unit; a holding unit that holds a photographic subject to image capturing by the image-capturing unit; a light irradiation unit that can select light from one or more light sources among a plurality of light sources having different wavelengths and irradiate the photographic subject held by the holding unit with the selected light; a storage unit that stores correspondence of a color of light that can be applied by the light irradiation device, a material of an irradiation surface irradiated with the light, and resolving power showing number of pixels per unit length; and an image processing unit that calculates, when processing an image of the photographic subject obtained by irradiating the photographic subject with the light from the light source selected among the plurality of light sources and image-capturing the photographic subject by the image-capturing unit, the resolving power from the correspondence on the basis of the color of light applied to the photographic subject and the material of the irradiation surface of the photographic subject and processes the image of the photographic subject using the resolving power.
