Abstract:
An image collection system that comprises: an image acquisition unit that acquires an image of a marker object that has been captured by an imaging device that is installed on a vehicle; a positional relationship information acquisition unit that acquires positional relationship information that represents the positional relationship between the vehicle and the marker object at the time the image was captured; and a storage processing unit that stores the image acquired by the image acquisition unit in a database in association with the positional relationship information acquired by the positional relationship information acquisition unit.
