Abstract:
An image color enhancement method for a display. The method comprises the steps of: S101, collecting tristimulus values of a CIE1931 color space and computing chromatic values and a brightness value for an image displayed by a display; S102, acquiring an RGB triangle of a color gamut of the display according to the chromatic values; S103, defining relative saturation of a chroma point D1 of any group of RGB data in the RGB triangle as (I); S104, performing gain operation on S1 to obtain gain saturation S2; S105, acquiring a chroma point D2, corresponding to S2, in the RGB triangle according to a formula OD2=OD*S2, wherein the chroma point D2 is located on a straight line OD; and S106, computing RGB data corresponding to the chroma point D2 to obtain RGB data after the saturation is increased. An image color enhancement device for a display. The image color enhancement device is used for performing the image color enhancement method.
