Abstract:
A device for creating an image by converting outline data to bit map image data comprising capacity confirming means (11a) for confirming the capacity of a storage area when the converted data is stored, application judging means (21a) for judging whether a processing object is an object to which simple image size calculation is applied or an object to which simple image size calculation is not applied when the confirmed capacity is larger than a predetermined value, calculating means (31a) for performing simple image size calculation of an object judged to be applied to simple image size calculation and regular image size calculation of an object judged to be not applied to simple image size calculation, area securing means (41a) for securing a required data storage area calculated by the image size calculation, and creating means (51a) for creating the image data in the secured data storage area, whereby simple image size calculation, not regular image size calculation, is performed and thereby the total processing time is shortened.
