Abstract:

This image display device (100), which is provided with an RGB laser diode (105) that outputs a light beam, a laser driver (104) that drives said RGB laser diode (105) on the basis of input-image data, and a scanning mirror (200) that reflects the light beam at an angle corresponding to a drive voltage so as to cause the light beam to scan, is also provided with a scanner control unit (108) that applies a bias voltage to the scanning mirror (200) on the basis of an angle with respect to the horizontal or a stationary angle at which the scanning mirror (200) stops when no drive voltage is applied.
