Abstract:
An image display device includes: a front panel having fluorescent layer; resistance layers provided between the fluorescent layers; and metal back layers arranged on the fluorescent layers and the resistance layers and divided by gap Gx in the first direction X and divided by gap Gy, wherein Gy > Gx, in the second direction Y on the resistance layers; and a rear panel arranged to oppose to the front panel and having a plurality of electron emission elements arranged thereon. The resistance layer arranged between the areas divided by the gap Gy is formed by a first resistance layer in the vicinity of the fluorescent layer and a second resistance layer adjacent to the first resistance layer.
